Hey y’all! We’re the Halls. We invite you on our homestead journey as we share the knowledge that we gain through many trials and errors.
In a time where there’s confusion about what’s “good” for us, where it comes from and such, people are seeking out a way to use the knowledge that has kept many alive and well for centuries. We are some of those people. God is the God of all wisdom, order, and provision and through Him, we will draw upon what He gives to survive.
Antoine, my husband, has always loved gardening. His first gardening project was creating a nice sized square foot garden. We learned a lot about tomatoes and okra that year! He also tells us of stories of always trying to grow things from seeds as a child. You will hear from him a lot on this blog when it comes to hydroponics and gardening. Ziggy, our daughter, has taken right after him – even going so far as to grow her own almond tree!
Then there’s our son Juju-bean. As far as growing things, I don’t think he’s really taken a big interest, but he does love animals. At our State Fairs, he’s always eager to milk the cow, and interact with the other animals there. I think that he’ll be more like me, into animal husbandry – when we finally get the chance.
Well, there you have it. I mean, we can’t spill ALL the beans about ourselves. We want you to keep reading and find out more of our quirks as we go! So, come on and join us…I think you’ll be glad you did.
