Hey Fam, it’s been a while since our last post. We’ve definitely been dealing with life-stuff again, but ’tis life. So, today I wanted to share with you all a quick PVC project that I put together back in 2014. Up until that point, we all just tossed our clothes (separated by colors) into the same three hampers that we had in our room. As the kids grew older, I wanted them to have their own hamper in each of their rooms and we needed a solution. However, I thought why buy one when you can disassemble what you have and be creative?!
In comes this project. The hampers we had at the time were made out of PVC pipe and laundry bags, so I simply cut them in half, purchased more PVC pipe and pieced together individual hampers for the kids. This solved the problem for them, but that pretty much left us (the adults) with no hamper, so I had to make one from scratch and this is the result.
Of course this pre-dates this blog, so I originally created the DIY on a website called Instructables. It is a really cool site to learn how to do all sorts of stuff from ordinary people and they run all sorts of contests. From electronics to CNC machines, you can find it there along with courses.
